Requirements

• A ToolCargo account with Site Audit activated (free). No Wikimedia Commons account, provider key or paid provider.

Limitations

• Wikimedia Commons is the source and the Wikimedia Foundation operates the public API. ToolCargo does not guarantee upstream availability or sublicense that API.
• Search is a quoted literal phrase restricted to bitmap file candidates. Explicit pages contain at most 10 results, offset 0–1000; no visual inspection, Arabic completeness or exhaustive search guarantee.
• Exact File: titles only. Current file version metadata and description-page revision are separate; normalization is explicit, redirects are not followed. Non-image file metadata is marked unsupported for image selection.
• Community-recorded licenses can be incomplete or unreliable for multi-licensed files. Commons listing, absent restrictions and public-domain labels do not establish reuse permission. Creator may differ from uploader; source license and non-copyright restrictions require review.
• HTML is projected as bounded inert plain text with truncation and source provenance. Requested language may have untranslated fields. At most 5 HTTP(S) links per field; links and original-media pointers are never fetched. No files, image previews, HTML execution or historical-file paging.
• Public requests have a shared in-flight gate, spacing and provider-directed cooldown. No automatic retries. Projected results may be cached locally for 5 minutes (50 entries, 50 KB each); fetchedAt/cacheHit expose freshness. Every successful cached or fresh operation uses one shared-plan call.
