Requirements

• Activate Site Audit free and use ToolCargo OAuth or a scoped API key. No NWS account, API key or paid provider.

Limitations

• NWS coverage is US locations and supported territories; not a global weather service. Some marine or uncovered locations lack text forecasts. Recheck point mappings periodically because offices/grid cells can change.
• Coordinates are rounded to four decimals before reaching NWS. Grid forecasts represent approximately 2.5 km cells, not measured weather at the supplied point.
• At most ten periods per explicit local page, offset 0–200. Each page refetches the full bounded forecast; source order and values can change between calls. No pinned snapshot or automatic paging.
• Source units, timestamps and missing values are preserved. Freshness age is derived from updateTime with no guaranteed threshold; numeric probabilities and rounded narrative percentages may differ.
• Fixed public JSON requests with identifying application contact, shared provider pacing, 15-second timeout and 2 MB response cap. No retries, redirected/followed URLs, geocoding, observations, alerts, emergency monitoring or weather guarantees.
