Requirements
- • ToolCargo account with Site Audit activated.
- • ToolCargo OAuth or an API key scoped to connector:pypi-packages.
- • No external API key is required.
Limitations
- • Public PyPI projects only; latest-release metadata is publisher supplied.
- • Dependency requirements are strings, not a resolved environment or compatibility guarantee.
- • Dependency lists are capped at 60, classifiers at 40, project links at 20 and files at 30.
- • Responses exceeding 2 MB cannot be inspected. Historical releases, README content and maintainer emails are excluded.
- • No package downloads, installs, execution, vulnerability audit or download statistics.
Supported clients
“Tested” means we connected that client to this endpoint and ran a tool call ourselves. Recorded client-specific tests currently cover Site Audit. Other connectors use the documented setup until tested in that client.
