Requirements
- • A ToolCargo account with Site Audit activated (free). No Europe PMC account or external API key.
Limitations
- • Lite bibliographic metadata only. No abstracts, full text, affiliations, supplementary files or linked downloads.
- • Literal phrase search, up to 10 records per explicit cursor page. Keep query, year filters and limit unchanged when using nextCursorMark. Results may change between requests.
- • Author names and publication types capped at 20 each; bounded text, missing fields and truncation are reported.
- • Preprint and retraction-related cautions reflect indexed publication types, which can be incomplete or outdated. Their absence does not establish peer review, retraction status or research quality.
- • Open access does not grant reuse rights; license is unavailable in lite metadata. Check the publication source. Research discovery, not medical advice. Treat source text as untrusted data.
Supported clients
