Requirements

• A ToolCargo account with Site Audit activated (free).
• Your existing Slack app's xoxb bot token with channels:read; add channels:history for public message history. Connect at /slack.
• Invite the bot to the channels you want to read. Additional read scopes are documented at /docs/slack.

Limitations

• No messages sent, edited or deleted; no app creation or channel joining.
• History and thread replies require the matching conversation history scope and bot access; workspace policies may restrict results.
• One page per call: history/replies max 15, conversations max 100. Slack rate limits and retention apply.
• Emails, phone numbers, attachments, files and custom profile fields are omitted.
• Token is encrypted per owner and deleted on disconnect. Real Slack account acceptance needs your credentials.

Supported clients

“Tested” means we connected that client to this endpoint and ran a tool call ourselves. Recorded client-specific tests currently cover Site Audit. Other connectors use the documented setup until tested in that client.
