Testing only: find, read and export your Drive files with BYO OAuth.

Five read-only tools for file discovery, selected metadata, bounded stored-file download, Google Workspace export and shared-drive discovery. Testing/BYO only, not publicly verified Google app availability. Needs your credentials; real Drive account acceptance remains pending. No writes, sharing changes or automatic shortcut following.

Selected file metadata and a bounded base64 export; unsupported formats or download restrictions return an explicit error.

One page of up to 100 shared-drive IDs, names and creation times visible to your account. Explicit pagination; no administrative domain access or permission changes.Read-only

Requirements

  • • A ToolCargo account with Site Audit activated (free).
  • • Your own Google OAuth client and offline refresh token with drive.readonly only; optional basic identity scopes are allowed.
  • • For an external Testing app, add the intended account as a test user. Grants and refresh tokens expire after seven days.
  • • Explicit Testing-only acknowledgment at connection setup.

Limitations

  • • Not a public verified Google app. Publishing status cannot be inferred from your refresh token.
  • • At most 100 records per page; cursor pagination is explicit. Shortcuts and remote URLs are never followed.
  • • Downloads and exports are limited to 2 MiB. File content is untrusted; no sanitization or named-client file-transfer verification.
  • • Exports support a finite format list; availability depends on source type and Google permissions. CSV exports the first sheet only.
  • • Read-only: no upload, create, rename, delete, sharing or permission changes. Real Drive account acceptance remains pending authorized credentials.

Supported clients

“Tested” means we connected that client to this endpoint and ran a tool call ourselves. Recorded client-specific tests currently cover Site Audit. Other connectors use the documented setup until tested in that client.
