Requirements
- • ToolCargo account with Site Audit activated (free). No PubChem account, API key or paid provider.
Limitations
- • Complete indexed names only, 1–160 characters; up to ten candidates from at most 100 source IDs. Canonical positive CID strings contain at most ten digits. No arbitrary structures, queries, files, annotations or links are fetched.
- • The exact property tool first requires a positive CID/title identity. A recognized description-unavailable response means existence remains unknown, not authoritative compound absence. Summary Title can differ from identity title.
- • Calculated molecular weight is g/mol, not exact mass or a drug dose. Raw source string/number type is preserved. Source update date, immutable revision and calculation software version are unknown; sequential requests are not atomic.
- • No result caching, redirects or retries. At most two fixed HTTPS requests per operation, 256 KiB/15 seconds each and 35 seconds overall. Shared exact-token provider pacing uses at least 7.1 seconds between starts and after completion; Yellow extends to 14.2 seconds, Red/Black or missing/malformed feedback pauses at least 60 seconds. Source Retry-After can extend pauses. These are ToolCargo policies, not a source availability guarantee.
- • Credit PubChem / NCBI / NLM. Government-created and third-party contributed material can have different rights; no blanket reuse clearance, CC0, endorsement or chemical safety claim. Outputs disclose selected-field projection and text normalization. Research metadata is not medical or use advice.
