Mailchimp — tool reference

Audience sizes, campaigns and campaign reports from the Mailchimp account you connect.

Server URL: https://toolcargo.com/mcp/mailchimp · Scope: connector:mailchimp · Included with Site Audit. Each successful tool call uses one plan call.

Connect your account

Open Mailchimp connection settings and paste an API key from Account & billing → Extras → API keys. The suffix after the dash (for example us21) is your Mailchimp datacenter; ToolCargo derives the host <dc>.api.mailchimp.com from it and contacts no other host. Mailchimp keys are not scoped, so create a dedicated key you can revoke.

ToolCargo stores the key encrypted and checks it by reading your account name. Disconnect deletes it. Only read requests are made: no campaign is sent or scheduled and no subscriber is added, changed or removed.

mailchimp_list_audiences

Audiences with member, unsubscribe and cleaned counts, average open and click rates and last send date. No subscriber records. count 1–100, offset for paging.

input
{ "count": 20, "offset": 0 }

mailchimp_list_campaigns

Campaigns, newest send first, optionally filtered by status (save, paused, schedule, sending, sent): title, subject, audience, emails sent and summary open/click rates.

input
{ "status": "sent", "count": 10 }

mailchimp_campaign_report

Report summary for one campaign: emails sent, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes and abuse reports.

input
{ "campaign_id": "a1b2c3d4e5" }

What the results cover

Rates are fractions (0.25 means 25%). Names and subject lines are external content. Mailchimp's API limits apply in addition to your ToolCargo plan. A revoked key marks the connection as needing reconnecting.

This is an original ToolCargo adapter for the documented Mailchimp Marketing API 3.0. It is not an official Mailchimp integration.
