HubSpot official MCP server setup

Review deal status in an existing CRM pipeline.

Connect your AI client directly to HubSpot. This is a vendor-operated server, separate from ToolCargo’s hosted connectors. A ToolCargo key or subscription does not grant access to it.

Connection URL

HubSpot official remote URL
https://mcp.hubspot.com/

Use a client that supports the vendor’s remote transport and authentication. Consult the official HubSpot instructions for your client’s current configuration.

Account and permissions

Connector client ID and secret, matching redirect URL, and OAuth with PKCE.

Create an MCP connector in your HubSpot account. Available tools depend on user permissions and subscription. This CRM server is separate from HubSpot’s developer MCP.

Choose the smallest account access needed. The example below requests read-only work; wording alone does not prevent writes. Review the tools, granted permissions and your client’s approval settings.

Set up and check a small result

  1. In HubSpot, open Development → MCP Connectors and create a connector with your client’s exact redirect URL.
  2. Configure the official URL and connector credentials in a client supporting OAuth PKCE. Authorize the intended account and review the granted permissions.
  3. List the tools and run get_user_details to inspect your access. Then read a few deals and compare their IDs and stages with the HubSpot UI.

Try this workflow

Read-only starter prompt
Read at most 10 deals from my selected pipeline. Show deal ID, name and stage, and flag missing values. Do not edit records or send messages.

If access is denied or data is missing, check the selected account, resource permissions and vendor limits before retrying. Keep record or node references so you can verify the answer in the original application.

What has been checked?

Vendor documentation checked 2026-10-06. ToolCargo has not authenticated an account or verified an end-to-end call for this guide. Provider plans, permissions and rate limits still apply; directory discovery does not make the provider service free.
