Search Console Insights — tool reference

Server URL: https://toolcargo.com/mcp/search-console · Scope: connector:search-console · Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless). Included with Site Audit: it uses your Site Audit plan. All tools are read-only.

Connect Google

1. Sign in and open Search Console, then choose Connect Google Search Console.
2. Google asks you to allow read-only access to your Search Console data. Nothing else is requested.
3. While Google reviews ToolCargo, its screen shows an “unverified app” notice and only invited test accounts can continue. Ask us to add your Google account.

We keep only an encrypted refresh token so the connection keeps working; we never store your Search Console data. Disconnect any time on the same page (we also ask Google to revoke access) or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. If Google access is revoked, tools say so and ask you to reconnect.

About the data

• Google's figures become final about 3 days later, so every period ends 3 days ago. Comparisons use the same-length period before it.
• Google returns its top rows per request, so totals describe the rows returned, not every long-tail query.
• Each request that reads Search Console data counts as one Site Audit call; list_properties is not counted.

Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position by query, page, country or device, with the change against the previous period. Optional page (exact URL) and query_contains filters. days is 7–90.

Query–page pairs ranking on average between position 8 and 20 with at least min_impressions impressions, most impressions first — the usual quick wins.

One page's queries and trend, its queries closest to page one, and the failing checks from your latest saved audit of that page (only your own audits). The property is found automatically unless you pass property.
