Page Asset Budget — tool reference

A bounded snapshot of the files a public page references.

page_asset_budget

Counts unique scripts, stylesheets, images and preloaded fonts from one HTML page. It HEAD-checks at most six same-origin assets that robots.txt permits, reporting Content-Length when available. Cross-origin URLs are counted but not fetched.

This is not a Lighthouse score or browser waterfall. The page is capped at 500 KB; each asset HEAD request has a four-second timeout and redirects are refused. Dynamic and lazy-loaded assets may be absent.
