RSS & Atom Feeds — tool reference

Find and read public site feeds for content monitoring. No external key is needed.

discover_feeds

Fetches a public page and lists feed URLs advertised by HTML alternate links. A missing link does not prove a site lacks a feed.

read_feed

Reads up to 30 RSS or Atom entries from a public feed URL. Returns titles, dates, links and short summaries.

Only public HTTP(S) URLs on default ports are fetched when robots.txt permits access. Unknown robots policy and redirects are refused. Feed responses are capped at 1 MB, discovery responses at 500 KB. Feed text is untrusted third-party content.
